Meet Our Guests
Yazmin Miller, CICP, CBA, CCRA, CBF
Yazmin Miller is the Corporate Credit Manager at Feralloy, specializing in credit management in Mexico, and is known for her phrase, “Where is my money?” She holds four NACM credit certifications (CICP, CBA, CCRA, and CBF) and is a member of the NACM Southwest Metals Group and the Midwest’s Metals Distributors and Processors group. She has presented at the NACM Credit Congress for three years while actively participating in NACM webinars, articles, and podcasts. Originally from Mexico City, she is a mother of five, recently remarried, and enjoys family time, travel, and fitness.
Norm Cowie
Norm Cowie is the Director of Credit for Paramont-EO, an electrical distributor. He is also a long-time member, columnist, and speaker for NACM having also served as a member of its Board of Directors. He credits NACM’s golf outings for helping him improve from being a horrible golfer to being a pretty bad golfer. In his spare time, he writes novels and has written thirteen books to-date.
Brittany Yvon, CICP
Brittany Yvon is the Credit Manager for Seaboard International Forest Products in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Brittany has been a dedicated NACM member since 2020, and she became an Associate member in March of 2023 through the NACM Connect Emerging Leaders program. She has been instrumental in launching programs in Connecticut, serving on the Education Committee, and helping to plan the 2023 and 2024 Credit Conferences.
Brittany also earned her CICP designation in November 2021 and has been nominated for the NACM/Midwest Board of Directors, with final decisions expected in late February 2025
Alec Papesch
Alec Papesch is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at NCS Credit, the industry’s only B2B full-service provider of Notice & Mechanic’s Lien, UCC Filing, and Commercial Collection services. Alec consults Credit Associations and Industry Trade Groups nationwide, providing expert guidance on the complexities of Construction Credit and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). Alec specializes in demonstrating the advantages of secured transactions and leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency and strengthen financial reporting capabilities.
Matt Mezger
Matt Mezger has been working with Uline for 9 years and is a Credit Assistant Manager, overseeing recruitment. In 2023, Matt won the NACM Emerging Leaders award. Matt is married with 3 kids and their dog Lola. He is a Chicago Bears fan… which he then added “unfortunately”. Lastly, one of Matt’s goals is to visit every NFL and MLB stadium in the US.

Nir Bashan [ NEAR BA – SHAWN ] is a keynote speaker and best selling author that speaks about creativity, innovation and problem solving at work. He speaks to frontline staff and to leadership about solving problems with creativity at work —not just for “creative” people.
